I used this stroller for my daughter (she is my second) at my in-laws and I have found it to be terrible. Not only is it heavy, when taken apart to put in the car it takes up literally the entire trunk (Rav 4). It takes two hands to do anything with it and there is no snack tray for a toddler. I used it on the beach this weekend and find their claim that it is good for the beach to be a joke, as you have to tilt the stroller to pull it (or, you could just use a jogging stroller, and actually walk/run normally on the sand). Speaking of, you can't run with this stroller, so you'd have to buy a separate jogger anyway, if you're into that. I use a chicco at my house with a snack tray, which also reclines ($120) and used a McClaren Volo for my older daughter (best one-hand-fold that exists and the lightest stroller ever--still have and use after 6 years). I am a runner and also use an amazing lightweight jogging stroller ($140). In fact, if I add up all I've spent on strollers for both my daughters (ages 9 mos and 7) it would still be less than the price of this one. I honestly can't figure out why anyone would pay this amount.

I bought this bugaboo for my newborn son because it is versatile and solid. After mounting it, I inflated the back tires with the pump provided (not an easy task, because the pump is really small): twenty minutes later, one of the tires EXPLODED. I found out that it is not an uncommon problem. I sent an email to their customer service and they did not reply in the next 24 hours. I called and a customer service representative naturally gifted with bad manners told me that they will send a replacement for the exploded tire. Delivery time: 7 business days, which basically means two weeks between the explosion and my possibility to use the stroller. Way too long for a new baby!

yes, this product is sooo expensive. but it's worth every penny. it's very versatile (i can always keep my baby out of the sun by flipping the handle), easy to put together and take in and out of your car trunk, very comfortable for the baby, fits your baby from birth till a long while later, has tons of useful and cute accessories, and has great resale value. worth every single penny.

Yes, the Bugaboo is worth it. We bought a "Frog" almost two years ago for our first daughter. For the first 3 months of her life, the Bugaboo was her mobile bassinet [hint: we didn't buy a standalone bassinet since the bugaboo has one and saved $].
We bought the frog, rather than the Cameleon because we (a) were OK with the solid color and (b) neither one of us needed the ability to extend the handlebars (if you're 6' or taller, you might).
Our Bugaboo has made lots of trips with us and we've had no problem gate-checking it on the plane.
Rides like a champ. Durable. Stylish.

The Bugaboo Frog is the stroller we were looking for our newborn baby girl. Is fantastic. Easy to assemble and fold down for our small car trunk as well as its light weight make it completely functional.
