"Not easy, but it fits Phil and Teds" 2009-07-28
By A. Schmidt (Cambridge, MA USA)
Just bought a Phil and Teds Sport which comes with no snack tray and they don't make one either -- what's up with that? It's amazing how some of these high-end strollers that have a great overall design could learn a thing or two from the cheapo stroller companies.

I bought this product in black and I tried to attach it to the bumper bar. I had to take the foam and elastic cover off of the bar, which I admit was not easy to do. It took me several minutes, but I got it off without damaging the foam or the bar. Then the bar was too thin, even with the small screws that come with this set, for the clips to fit. I used a thin strip of cardboard from a cereal box and wrapped it around the bar several times to make the bar a little thicker in the location where I wanted to attach the clips. Then I attached the clips using the small screws around the cardboard. Now it fits, which is great! I didn't think of this when I was installing the clips, but one easier way to solve the problem without cardboard would be to get some nuts from a local hardware store (hint: the screw size is 10-32) that don't have these little plastic pieces in them, blocking the screws from going all the way through. Then you could tighten as much as you want (you'll see what I mean if you look at the nuts that come with the product). Anyway, I think using one of these two methods, pretty much any stroller could be compatible with these clips.

I give the product 4 starts because frankly, it's the only product out there that offers a hard plastic solution to a stroller with no snack tray. I've read so many complaints about the soft foam snack trays that attach to bumper bars and how sippy cups tip over in them. However, this company should seriously consider making some improvements to their product! Here are my suggestions:

- It's ridiculous that an "adjustable" product only fits bars of a certain thickness. Why not get rid of the plastic pieces on the nuts that prevent the screws from going in further?

- The sippy cup holder/bottle holder attachments require too much dexterity of a toddler to snap the cup/bottle in and out. Why not have a small cup holder instead? I'm using the bulky "adult" cup holder for my toddler, which seems silly because it's big enough to fit a big gulp. I doubt any stroller would fold with it attached.

- The plastic snack tray is okay, but could just be a tray. If they really want to keep these bins with covers, at least make the covers open to the sides, rather than away from the clip. The problem is that with the covers sliding away from the clips, it forces you to put the snack bins facing away from the child, whereas I would rather put it on the inside of my bumper bar because my son is so small. Ideally, parents would have the option of facing it either way, which is why I suggest covers that slide outwards to the sides.

- Maybe make the cup holder smaller? It's huge!

One bonus (of the black set anyway; not sure about this one) is that it came with S-hooks for hanging bags/purse from a stroller with a push bar. That was a nice surprise.

 "Just Okay" 2009-01-19
By Miles' mom
This did fit my Chicco C5. Like other reviewers have mentioned it took a lot of patience and a lot of tinkering to get it on just right. I thought it was a little pricey for what you get. The S hooks look like they would snap if you hung anything on them. Plus, since it only comes with 2 attachment pieces you can't use more than 2 of the accessories at a time. I wish I could have found a set that was just a cup holder and snack tray. My stoller had an adult cup holder so all I really wanted was a cup holder and snack cup for my son. I was disappointed that there was no child sized cup holder. The only drink holder it had for the child was a bottle holder. I am using the adult cup holder low on the stoller for my son to set his cup in. Although it's a bit big, it works. The set I received was all black not green and purple as pictured which was a pleasant surprise. Since it works and there are really no other comperable products I am satisfied, but I do think this set could be better.

"Better than others I've tried because..." 2008-05-22

I have tried several other. One that I tried (looks like a koozie) broke every time I tried to install it. I also tried a Liquid Holster, but the part of that which "installs" on the stroller is so big that it interferes with opening & closing my stroller for the location that I want. These have a slimmer part that installs. I use these on my Jeep umbrella strollers as cup holders for my kids (I have one on each of my umbrella strollers). And I have a water bottle clip for me on one of the umbrella strollers. I just got the snack cup so I haven't used it yet, but for this type of stroller (umbrella) it works just fine. I do have to "push" a little bit to get the stroller to close enough to latch, but I couldn't get the stroller latched at all with the liquid holster. I've had my first one (cup holder only) for 2 years and it's just fine so far.

 "Total waste of money" 2007-07-14
By NYC Mama (NY, NY)
Both of the clamps in this set were stripped and the bolt would not hold them in place. When we did get one to somewhat stay on my stroller, we placed an empty sippy cup in the cup holder and it both tipped over and the clamp spun around and hung upside down. The entire system seems to be made of cheap plastic and the S hooks also seem useless.

"missing parts - would have been ok though" 2006-07-17
By Jedi Master Francis (New York, NY)
last to arrive among other orders (about a week later) and did NOT come with its nuts (the bolts were there, too many actually) so i cant attach the system. all items arrived sealed so this is a factory problem. And it even displays "made in USA" very prominently. Please do NOT say made in USA unless you can assure quality and completeness of your product. Otherwise more people will understand why there is such a thing as "outsourcing". *sigh*
