I have sent 2 messages regarding this product. My daughter received the mobile, but when she put it on the baby's crib the music on the mobile played, but the mobile did not rotate. Even though the product was NEW, there is something wrong with the motor. Please advise us as to what we should do to return this product. My daughter through out the packing box and only has the box the mobile came in, so we don't have an address to return it to. Please advise.
You have my name and e-mail address. Thank you for your assistance. Marie Goodmabn

I've used this mobile through 2 children and both of them really love it (and with the first we'd tried several others that she wouldn't show interest in). The only glitch is that one of the buttons to turn it "off" doesn't work on mine. I can't remember right now if it's the one on the remote or the one on the actual mobile, but really it hasn't affected us using it.

I'm a professional working with children in hospitals whose main job is to assess and meet kids' psychosocial and developmental needs. This is BY FAR the best mobile I've seen, offering 3 soothing music options as well as the rotation. It's completely plastic, which is perfect for easy cleaning (especially in a hospital or daycare setting!). One of my favorite features are the 4 little detachable toys that serve as the objects in the mobile but can come off and double as toys/rattles for interactive play. The "toy" attechments have 2 sides--one with a simpler contrast design for the early months, and the other side with a more complicated design for when the babies get a little older. The only minor downside I've noticed is a slight clicking noise the motor seems to sometimes make, but it's very minor.
It's perfect because this mobile really grows with your baby. The toy attachments make this a very useful, multipurpose item--put on soothing music to relax, flip the toys over to the more complex designs as they grow, and detach them for use as a rattle and fun little toy.
I'm so upset that this mobile has been discontinued. Most mobiles just have hanging stuffed animals, which may be cute to people but does not provide as good visual stimulation (look at it from beneath, from the infant's point of view, and you just see the stuffed animals feet and backside). This "Music in Motion" mobile is much better because it hangs the toys so that the visual interest is from the bottom--where the baby is usually looking. There's the "Infant Stim-Mobile" with black and white contrast images, but these usually do not move/rotate or have any music, and tend to be very flimsy (but are still great for visual stim, growth, and interest for your baby). Sassy has introduced another musical mobile, the "Soothing Serenade Mobile," which is probably the next best musical, moving mobile out there, but I find it a little too busy and overdone, and the hanging toys do not detach.
Nothing I've seen compares with the cute simplicity and functionality of this fabulous mobile. Get it before it's gone for good! (Sassy, PLEASE start making it again!!!)

My two month old LOVES this mobile. We had a mobile before this that we spent way too much time resetting only for him to not even know it was there. The second he saw this, he started laughing. Now, the only time he doesn't laugh or smile or try to engage it is when it stops. My only complaint is that there is no way that I have found to make it turn without having sound. The wave is quiet but total silence would be nice, too.

My little boy has quite a few other Sassy toys, and I had high hopes for this interesting product.
Unfortunately, the music is working but the mobile does not turn. The motor whirs periodically, so I opened the housing to see that the small gear driving the rotation was cracked, so the post it was set in just rotated and was unable to transmit that motion to the larger drive year.
I left a message on Sassy's web site asking for advice but received no reply...sadly, I bought this thing months ago and was only just now getting around to installing it.
So, please don't buy.
