The City Select is an awesome stroller. It is easy to maneuver, easy to put together, fits nicely in the car and is very stylish. The second seat it perfect. The kids are comfortable in their seats and have both fallen asleep numerous times while we are out for a day of adventure. It is worth the price as it is a very great double stroller!

I have never been one to write a review, but after researching this stroller pretty much night and day for the last month, I feel I should since it was those reviews from others that helped me make my decision! My thanks to each one of you!
I just got my baby jogger city select yesterday and took it for a 2 hour spin. WOW! When they say it is a luxury stroller, they mean it! It handles like a dream, and anybody who has tender wrists can really appreciate this feature of smooth, one-handed steering. I do not have a second child yet, and it is true that the adapters for the second seat SHOULD be sold apart from the second seat, but I feel it is still worth it! After taking it for a spin you will understand. Great sleek design, wonderful capability to turn the seats however you want them, wheels are great to absorb impact, in my opinion all terrain.
Being honest, if there is one thing that can be said that should be better, it is the foot rest. Many, many others have commented on this feature and it is true that it is too short. But, you can either not buy the stroller and suffer with a dozen other issues with another stroller, or you could buy this wonderful stroller and find a way to make it better! I personally will put a small blanket under my sons fanny to lift him up when his legs get a little snug in the rest, or you can just lay the foot rest all the way down! I ALMOST reconsidered buying this stroller because of the footrest problem, but don't let that deter you! It's an awesome stroller and the best I have ever used!
IF you are still concerned, find a store near you that carries it and check it out! You will see!!

I love this stroller. We've had it for 6 months and it is by far the best investment we made. It's not quite as nimble as the Phil and Teds, but definitely safer (fewer pinched fingers and tipping incidents), tons more storage space and much more adaptable to life with 2 kids (soon to be three).
The weight of a child in the second seat makes the stroller a little bit more difficult to maneuver, but that is true of ANY double stroller. This give you by far the most configuration options for two kids (particularly if it is important to you to have both kids actually be able to see things around them.

Baby Jogger is completely insane. They market this as the best solution for a double stroller but fails to mention the second seat kit, which you need to make it a double, isn't available. So basically, you get a single for $500! We have been waiting for months and months to get our second seat kit and the delivery dates just keeps getting pushed back. And if you check the company's website now, it doesn't even give an expected delivery date anymore. If you want one infant carrier and one regular seat, you still need to buy the second seat kit in advance b/c that is where the brackets you need are! So even if you can get the car seat adapter, it is useless until the second seat kits come in. If I could return the stroller I would but unfortunately we used as a single until #2 was born and just never imagined the other parts would not be available. I will never buy from Baby Jogger again!!

I am now waiting on my second seat and car seat adaptor for months. I have written baby jogger 3 times now. They do not respond. This is just plain ridiculous. It now says on sites like Amazon that it will be late May before they ship. How can a company that ships baby products have such delays. By the time we get the car seat adaptor my daughter (already born last month) will no longer need it.
