 "Specs are not accurate" 2010-06-17
By Judy (Little Rock, AR USA)
I just received the zooper waltz and took it out of the box. Boy... it it short!! My 19 month-old boy is skinny for his age and average height for his age. The zooper waltz is too short for him! The seat is roomy sideways but when he leans back on the seat, his torso is longer than the backrest. The specs says it is suitable for from birth to 55 LBs. Well, I think while the frame is sturdy enough for a 55 LB child the size of the seat is too short for my 19 month 24 LB boy. Also, he seems cramped and uncomfortable because there is not a lot of room after the child tray is installed. Did I get a defective unit? On the other hand, I think Zooper waltz is great for infant because the seat reclines to COMPLETE FLAT(very very flat). I have a Zooper twist, which is actually more your toddler umbrella stroller, but it doesn't have a child tray. Here are pros and cons of zooper:

Pros:

excellent value: it comes with footmuff, parent cup holder, rain cover, sunshield

awesome canopy: when seat is upright, the canopy comes down to the child's knee. A peekaboo window allows the child to see outside when the canopy is completely extended. There is a pouch on the canopy for storage.

Single-hand recline mechanism.

zooper twist is lightweight. zopper waltz is stylish for newborn.

Cons:

The wheels rattle a little. they still run smoothly, just rattle slightly.

Basket is impossible to access when seat is fully reclined(most strollers are this way though)

No diaper hooks like the peg peregos. So diaper bag tends to slide downwards.

My conclusion:

Zooper watlz is only for infant.

Zooper twist is an excellent umbrella stroller. my only issues with it is the cons mentioned above and the fact that it doesn't stand alone when folded, making travelling in airport difficult.

Zooper waltz may still be a excellent stroller for you. Just double check the seat length. Zooper Company probably needs to clarify the specs. Very stylish stroller!!

 "Too Cool!" 2010-06-05

I purchased the Zooper in may, after extensive research... I'll be a first time mom in July and boy are there so many options for strollers out there! I wanted a cool modern looking stroller at a reasonable price that has the same options as the more traditional strollers.. I found it. I just recently got to test out the stroller on my baby nephew and it was so easy to use, light weight, has great functionality, and not to mention the cool factor..So glad I purchased my Zooper!

 "Excellent but also disappointed" 2010-05-27

After much research and reviews I stumbled upon the Zooper Waltz. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to the warranty information. Specifically the part about the warranty may not be honored if bought on ebay. We have a jogging stroller but I wanted something smaller to use in the neighborhood but was bigger than an umbrella. I bid on then won and had it shipped to a friend in the States.

I have to say that overall I'm impressed and love the Zooper and all the extras that come with it. The unfortunate part which is why I'm only giving it three stars is that after having it for only two months when I tried to recline the seat one day the cable snapped. Being a secondary stroller it's not overused or abused. And it doesn't seem that the warranty will cover it since it wasn't bought in Canada at a store but purchased online in the States. And apparently it cannot be fixed. So this is the most expensive short term use of a stroller ever.

Just wanted to say that two months after writing this, we still use the stroller quite often and Zooper sent me a work around to be able to adjust the seat. Not a great work around and would rather use the handle but it does work and we are still able to use it.

 "Great stroller" 2010-04-15
By L. Lassiter (Nashville, TN United States)
I love this stroller--it has all the accessories that you'll ever need already in the box. In particular, I love the sunscreen/bug net that provides great protection for the baby. I've had it two months now and the only problem I've had is that I broke the canopy. I'm not sure what happened, but Zooper is repairing it for me.

Pros:

VERY lightweight. I am not strong at all, so I needed something lightweight to lift in and out of the car. This is it.

Easy to open and close.

Stands upright on its own when closed.

We don't kick the back when walking (I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'5")

It's comfortable for the baby (she loves being in it)

It's great-looking (I get a lot of compliments on it)

It's easy to steer even with one hand.

It's reasonably narrow so I rarely have a problem while shopping.

Even though the tires are not air, they have good shock absorption. Even on bumpy terrain, the baby is not bothered.

The full coverage canopy was great for protecting my preemie from sneezes and coughs while out shopping.

Great range for kid sizes. I plan to have this until she refuses to ride in a stroller any more!

Cons:

It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's well-designed and again, it's great that all the accessories come with it; you could pay a lot more to add the rain cover, sun screen, cup holder, snack tray, etc to other strollers.
