We bought this bag to protect our Quinny buzz as we travell a lot. Well, it works like a charm but a bit unwieldy. The bag is huge! It does not stand up on its own, you have to check it at oversized luggage and it is really challenging to carry around. When you have a child to contend with and all the accoutrements that usually follow a child, the last thing you need is a large stroller bag. While it is a nice accessory I would not buy it if I had to do it all over again.

I ordered this bag in order to check our Quinny stroller on flights. It's a very sturdy travel bag - the material, padding and zippers are all very thick and sturdy and can withstand all the banging or throwing around that might happen. It has a hard backing. It really protects the stroller. It's pretty big, which would have to be the case anyways since the stroller itself is big. You have to check it in at the oversize luggage counter. There are wheels on the bag so it's easy to wheel it around, otherwise it'd be very heavy to carry (there are also strappy handles so you can carry it sideways over your shoulder).
Two wishes that would make this bag even better: First, I wish that it could fold up so I could push the stroller up to the gate, then take out the bag and check it in at the entrance of the plane. But if that was the case, if the bag was foldable, it'd compromise the sturdiness and thick padding throughout the bag. Second, I live overseas and wish that the bag could have been delivered to my overseas address. I instead needed to send it to someone in the states and then he had an incredibly difficult time repacking it because it exceeded the US postal service package size limitation. At the end, he had to fold the hard backing of the bag in half to meet the size requirements, and spend $80 to mail it.

We travel a bit with our baby and have found that the stroller gets filthy if you don't have a bag for gate check. Using a cheap stroller isn't an option as we use the stroller heavily at our destinations. It is really expensive, yes, but worth it to us. Added bonus is that we normally add other carry ons, like heavy coats, in the travel bag before we gate check it.

We bought this thinking we would use it to travel a lot with our Quinny.
Not so. It is far better just to use an umbrella stroller and save your $170. (If you have cash to blow, which we did not, then go all out and do it. We used it twice and probably never again. Less is more in this case.)
