 "A Great Product" 2010-03-16
By D. Jacobs (Texas)
We have been using our Pliko Switch Stroller since our son was born five months ago and have been very pleased with this product. It came well packaged with everything included and in good shape. The fabrics used are high-end and the stroller is durable and of very good quality - and it is extremely stable, untippable even with my daughter standing on the front foot rest or with the heaviest of diaper bags over the handle bars - this is attributable to its excellent design. We have the matching car seat and for quick outings we simply snap the car seat into the stroller base. The base folds out easily and is practically effortless. It takes me only a few seconds to whip out the base and snap the car seat in and be on my way - wonderful! For longer outings (like the zoo, mall etc) we use the stroller/carriage piece which also simply snaps right in. The hood is excellent on both the stroller/carriage piece and the car seat and snaps in place providing excellent sun coverage and even protection from noise once baby is older and likes a bit more quiet when sleeping. The steering on the stroller is adequate and all wheels swivel appropriately however, it is true that the stroller does not push well with one hand. Both the stroller/carriage piece and the car seat are well padded and still look brand new after 5 months of use. The cup holder is light weight and flexible and quite functional. It will hold a standard sized bottle of water or a soda in a plastic bottle. It is designed to grip the bottle firmly so the drink does not slosh around or spill. The stroller will not hold a big gulp :) My favorite feature of this stroller is that our baby always faces us whether in the car seat or the stroller/carriage piece. He stays content for very long periods of time and enjoys even very long outings in this comfortable, well designed stroller. The stroller/carriage piece reclines so baby can take a nap and we have used the stroller for a bassinet on many occasions when visiting family and it works quite well for this. One of the things that was most important to me in a new stroller was how easy the stroller is to snap together and take apart and this stroller is a cinch to work and so a great choice for those who are engineering challenged :) I am very happy with this product and I would purchase it again.

 "Solid stroller" 2010-01-11

I just received this stroller, but I have not used it yet.

Pros: The stroller seems very stable and the materials used are very nice. The stroller did not come with the boot, only a cup holder and the rain cover. The canopy is very nice and large, it will almost completely cover your baby. The seat almost lies completely flat, which will be nice for a sleeping baby.

Cons: I am having trouble with the seat locking into position, not on the chassis, on it's own prior to attaching to the chassis. But maybe the seat is not suppose to lock. The stroller is a little heavy, but I am used to an umbrella stroller. I wish a boot was included.

 "TOO HARD TO FOLD" 2009-11-21
By Anna M. Butt (Philadelphia, PA)
I purchased this stroller because of the convertible seat. It is a nice feature that you can see and talk to your baby while you are walking. Another great feature is that it goes flat for naps. But I am only giving it 2 stars because folding/unfolding this stroller is very painful. It takes 20 minutes to fold and unfold this stroller. It's not worth the price to struggle with it everytime we take it on a roadtrip.

 "Too much trouble" 2009-09-19
By NCM
I bought this stroller before my daughter was born. She is now 5 months and we use the stroller for local walks (we use the infant car seat with stroller frame when we travel). I don't like this stroller at all. Its hard to close, too many steps (which is really why we always use the infant car seat & frame...so much easier). You have to pull the handles then pull a handle and make sure the seat is positioned a certain way...too much drama. Then the seatbelts....ugghh. So hard to adjust, I have to take baby out then adjust the straps because they are so hard to pull through the holders. Another thing, the seatbelt attaches to the chair back by sliding a very small part of the plastic seatbelt anchor to a small slit in the chair. This is a problem because when the baby leans forward, it can slip out of the slit and there goes your seatbelt. Another issue..the seat is pretty straight, baby looks so uncomfortable. Bottom line, I wish I would've waited to buy a stroller because I know I would've returned this after the 1st time using it...too late now. Im considering selling this so I can get one i'll be happy with.

Good stuff: good looking, it rides very smooth and the handles are comfortable.

 "Pretty unique experience" 2009-06-17
By Matertera (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Unlike KYP, my stroller DID include the safety net. It's cleverly tucked in under the foot rest, although the rest is the same. The cup holder doesn't hold anything other than the thinnest of bottles. The stroller did not include the boot, as it appears to on the peg-pérego website. The nuts that hold the wheels in place were broken when we opened the box. We had a hard time finding replacements from local hardware shops. Closing it is tricky at first. Other than that, it's very very pretty and it works mainly for us as a bassinet. Be very sure when making this purchase, I had no help from Amazon or Peg-Pérego with my troubles.
