I personally dont like this and its pricey! My daughter hasnt liked it from day one and it doesnt really attach to the strollers and stuff as easy as it looks. The tail is just heavy and awkward and its more in the way than anything! This is more of a personal preference type of toy though. You either like it or you dont but its an opinion. Others may like the size!

This item is great. Bought for granddaughter and a friends baby. Both babies love it and cannot leave home without. I plan to buy another for another friend's baby

We found this little guy randomly in a large, vaguely archery-related mega-store. I picked it up and pressed the nose (activating the music) and showed it to my wife because I thought it was cute. I then realized that our son (I think he was about two months old at that point) was staring at the monkey with the most rapt attention I'd ever seen on his face. I let him hold the toy and started the music again. He just held it by the ears, staring into the monkey's face, and when the music stopped, he looked up at me expectantly.
We've been doing the same thing ever since.
Our son is six months old now, and generally he's pretty good in the car. But when he starts to get fussy, all we usually have to do is give him his monkey and start it playing. And sometimes he doesn't even need the music. We have countless pictures of him holding the monkey's ears and staring at its face, or just asleep in the car seat hugging the monkey around his neck.
The only negative that I can think of is the fact that the nose/button is a little bit too hard to push for younger babies. I really wish that my son could activate the music himself. But that and the surprisingly reasonable cost are small prices to pay for the hours of joy that my son has gotten from this toy.
Along with the music, the monkey is holding a leaf in one hand that crinkles when you touch it, and a ring of teething toys in the other hand. My son started out just listening to the music and watching the nose light up, but eventually became fascinated by the crinkly leaf and more recently started chewing on the teething toys (and occasionally the monkey's face for no readily apparent reason) when he starts getting teething pain. This toy is just so well designed, and it really has grown with my son.
I heartily recommend this monkey. If you're expecting or have a young one, buy it now. It will become your best friend, and your child's too.

My son loves this monkey! On the activity mat, mobile, and this toy. I take the musical monkey everywhere (Although it is quite large) Just showing it to my 3 1/2 month old gets a smile, pressing the nose gets even more. You can hang the tail from just about anything. Something about that face just makes babies squeal.

This Musical Monkey toy is so great!! It plays about 4 different tunes, and the Monkey's nose lights up.....any baby can have fun with this hanging from their stroller or Carrier. It is bigger than I thought, but can keep baby entertained for a while!!
