"Best Stroller I have purchased, wish I bought it first!" 2010-04-30

I bought this stroller after reading more reviews than I would like to mention. I originally purchased an evenflo journey elite stroller set, and then I purchased a graco travel set when my son grew out of the first one. The evenflo set was hard to turn, and could be awkward to get the carseat in position so that it was locked onto the stroller. The graco was better with the locking part, but still relatively hard to turn, and it was large.
I take one hour brisk walks almost everyday, and I needed something that could go where I want to go. I bought this stroller because I could use it with my carseat, and because it is the brand that LL Bean now sells in their store with a lifetime guarantee, and because of all the reviews. They are all right!! Sooo easy to turn, and you really only need one hand to steer it. It is more expensive than the first sets I bought. Those were wasted money. This stroller goes on trails and around the neighborhood with ease. I also have the cup holder, and that was well worth the money.
It is about the same weight as my graco stroller was. It folds up a little larger than my graco, but it still fits into the trunk just fine. It is a little awkward to handle when folded. It doesn't lock folded, so you find yourself trying to grab it in a way that it doesn't open in your hands. Beware: if you grab the wrong spot it will pinch your finger and not let go! Ouch!
Note: The toddler bundle me is wonderful with this stroller! I like it better than the BOB seat liner you can buy. You can zip off the top layer if it's only a little brisk out, or you can use both layers and your little one will be nice and warm. You don't need to remove it from the stroller, it will still fold up with it in the seat (it is slightly larger when folded with it on).

We received our BOB stroller as a baby gift from our parents. We LOVE it!!! We live in the woods and have a gravel driveway and take our little girl for walks in it all the time! It works great! We go on our trails through the woods that even go up and down hills. We would highly recommend this stroller. It works great for our long gravel driveway and on the grass too. It folds up easily. It turns INCREDIBLE! I always have new people push it and turn it so they can see how nice it turns. The big tires make it easier to go more places. We haven't been disappointed thus far! It also works good for the mall though this is the only stroller we have, so I can't compare with smaller ones. We even used it when our baby was one month old and just laid her down in the stroller with it reclined and wrapped blankets around her. It worked like a dream.

Ordered the stroller a few days ago for my 3 month old. I absolutley love it. It is no bigger than the typical stroller that comes with the travel systems but the wheels stick out more once it's folded. She was able to safely and comfortably ride in the seat without the infant carrier and even fell asleep on our first trip out. I've had it on the sidewalks and off road with minimal bouciness. It will be breeze in the mall. I was not able to get my sons bicycle helmet to go in the cargo space below the seat. The space was not large enough for it to enter through but I didn't try to force it either. It rolls and steers so easy. The orange is a nice color that would be applicable to either gender.

We live in true mountain country of Colorado and bought this stroller for it's durability in all conditions. I have owned it 7 months now - summer and winter - and love it. It is super smooth on dry roads and dirt paths and gets thru the snowy sidewalks and parks w/ no problem. I use this to go grocery shopping often and simply place a basket on top of the handle bars. We have strapped small cube sized coolers to the front foot area and shoved numerous jackets and crap in the undermount storage bin. We did not purchase the car seat adapter and simply reclined the back rest and used an infant support insert for added cushioning as well as a winter fleece sleeping bag insert during the colder months. Our newborn was a happy camper (granted it was summer)w/o the car seat and we feel the adapter is unnessesary but it certainly depends on you and the child. Our now 7 mo old loves this stroller and easily takes naps in it with ease. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. We have taken it on over 8 plane trips and gate checked with no issues.

I just love this stroller its perfect my daughter loves it tooo she was in it at three months..I just bouth the eddie bouer head coushion so she had support and we were on our way...we go on 2-3 hr walks and she is just as happy as can be in here...It perfect!!!! I like the brighter color (orange) so cars can see me better....I this this stroller is wonderful.
